I'm troubled by the almost total lack of breastfeeding in our society. I am troubled by the pervasive problems I hear repeated over and over by moms when they ask questions about breastfeeding and caring for babies. The answers are so simple and common sense, yet so difficult to convey because people are so easily offended, put on the defensive, or turned off when they hear something counter to what they did.

I find it incredibly frustrating every time I learn about another instance where insanity and nonsense and harm are being widely promoted as "normal" or "a fact of life."
